Clean hydrogen is a key answer for hard-to-decarbonize industry sectors. Based on its decades of experience in gas sweetening, Axens has developed an extensive expertise in CO2 removal technologies.
Please fill in the form to watch the replay of this video and learn more about the available Axens solutions such as Advamine™, the cost effective solution widely proven on Syngas CO2 capture; and the DMX™ process, the carbon capture solution on the flue gas which will be soon demonstrated at semi-industrial scale.
Clément Salais
Associate Group Manager, Gas Business Group, Axens
Clément Salais has been working for Axens since 2006 and has worked on development and design of gas sweetening technologies as well as in construction follow-up and start-up of industrial units along its career at Axens. As a Gas Sweetening Technologies Expert, he is now in charge of the development of carbon capture technology.
Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) encloses all technologies dedicated to remove CO2 from flue gas and from the atmosphere, to recycle this CO2 for utilization in chemical applications for instance and/or store it in geological cavities.
CO₂ Capture
CO2 Capture consists in extracting the CO2 produced by the largest polluting industries. To do so, two main carbon capture pathways are available: which are either the post- or pre-combustion pathways.
CO₂ Gas Drying
The dehydration of CO₂ streams presents specificities such as corrosiveness, acid gases co-absorption and TEG recovery. Consequently, for decades, it has been seen as a challenge for the operators.
