Since the first reference was put in operation back in 2001, Axens’ fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) gasoline hydrotreatment technology, Prime-G+®, has demonstrated the ability to achieve deep desulfurisation of gasoline with minimum octane penalty. This was made possible by the unique combination of smart schemes with the most specific catalysts, capable of very high hydrodesulfurisation (HDS) rates with minimum olefins saturation.
