Mild Hydrocracking / HyC-10+™

Conversion towards diesel is increasingly considered worldwide; refineries able to push their conversion are definitely in a favorable position. In this context, Axens was awarded a process study for revamping a HyC-10+™ unit in Europe . HyC-10+™ is an integrated technology licensed by Axens including a mildhydrocracking (MHC) section and a diesel hydrotreating or “polishing” section.

The latter section receives the entire hydrogen make-up required for both reaction sections, polishing its feeds in a once-through reactor.
