The Simplest Process for Simultaneous Water and Hydrocarbon Dewpointing of Natural Gas

thumb_Axens_CB_Ifpexol

Pipeline transportation of natural gas requires suitable dewpointing of both water and hydrocarbons (HC), in order to prevent the formation of any liquids in the pipeline. This dewpointing is usually performed in two steps:
• First, gas dehydration - for instance with TEG,
• Then, HC dewpointing by cooling the dry feed gas to the appropriate dewpoint temperature.
