Cyclohexane Production by Benzene Hydrogenation

_thumb_Axens_CB_Cyclohexane

The Axens Cyclohexane process is the industry’s benchmark for the production of high purity Cyclohexane by benzene hydrogenation. The process is based on liquid phase hydrogenation of benzene using a soluble nickel catalyst.
The reaction section includes two reactors: In the main reactor, the hydrogenation reaction takes place in liquid phase, the soluble catalyst being injected continuously.
