Axens is licensing a complete set of C₄ isomerization configurations in order to help refiners/petrochemical producers to resolve the evolving gasoline pool equation or to respect the petrochemicals demand.
The main goal of C₄ isomerization technology is to restore the equilibrium iC₄/nC₄ in a C₄ paraffinic cut. From theC₄ isomerate, two cuts can be produced (nC₄ rich cut or iC₄ rich cut) and as a consequence different configurations can be foreseen depending on the application.
